Choose Bank Deposit(s) on Home, then press the date on the left to enter the entry loop. Use Day entries on the right only to check deposits already entered.
For each bank deposit, enter the paying-in book reference or another reference for the deposit. Bank Deposits is the only section where you enter the reference yourself. XB generates it automatically for all other entries.
Manual deposits
A manual deposit is money you physically pay into the bank. If you bank cash once a week, record that one real deposit rather than inventing daily bankings.
Automatic deposits
An automatic deposit is money paid directly into the bank by a card processor or online ordering service.
Takings and Bank Deposits are separate because earning money and receiving it into the bank are not always the same event.
